The goal of the judicial training 'Competition Law' is to provide judges with less experience in competition law with an opportunity to become familiar with its basic concepts and terminology. This is an introductory training for all judges as competition law relates to different branches of law. Thus every judge needs to know the basics of competition law in order to be prepared to adjudicate cases involving issues of European or national competition law.
The key topics of the training will be the basic principles of competition law, anti-competitive agreements, the abuse of dominant position and merger control. The main focus is on the competition law rules of the European Union law and relevant case law.
Language regime: Estonian and English
IMPORTANT: All those who had participated on the event are obliged to upload REPORT from this event within 30 days after their return and no later than 31 December 2014. The report may be written in Slovak or English language.
